The underlying merger agreement, first signed in February 2026, structures the deal so Pasqal Holding SAS combines with the SPAC through a France-based merger subsidiary; assuming shareholders approve it at an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for August 25, 2026, the combined company will operate as Pasqal Holding SA and begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker PSQL. For a developer or infrastructure audience, the SPAC mechanics matter less than what it signals about the maturity of neutral-atom quantum hardware as a commercial category. Pasqal is one of a handful of companies, alongside superconducting-qubit players like IBM and Rigetti, trapped-ion players like IonQ and Quantinuum, and photonic approaches like PsiQuantum, racing toward fault-tolerant or commercially useful quantum advantage.
